Blind Citizens Australia (BCA): National Policy
BCA’s National Policy and Development Council is currently in the process of developing an Employment Policy to advocate for the equal rights of people who are blind or vision impaired in the labor market. The policy’s focus is systemic, highlighting the many barriers people who are blind or vision impaired face when looking for work and maintaining employment. As the draft policy moves to its final stages, it will be released to the BCA membership for comment.
Blind Citizens Australia has developed a policy aimed at ensuring people who are blind or vision impaired can access voluntary work. This policy has been developed with both work seekers and organisations in mind.
