Employment Opportunity: Project Officer

 

Blind Citizens Australia is seeking a Project Officer to join our national team. We offer a challenging opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about delivering innovative projects which improve the lives of people who are blind or vision impaired.

You will work as part of a small national team either from our Melbourne or Sydney offices, or remotely. We encourage applications from people who are blind or vision impaired, Aboriginal people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

Applications are invited for the position of Project Officer at 22.5 hours per week for 9 months with the possibility of extension. Salary will be based on experience and salary sacrificing is available.

As Project Officer you will deliver high-quality projects which contribute to the empowerment of people who are blind or vision impaired, consult regularly with people who are blind or vision impaired from diverse backgrounds to ensure that projects are relevant and accessible, and contribute to research and evaluation to inform future project delivery.
