On Tuesday 4th July, BCA Inform was held to discuss challenges faced by people who are blind or vision impaired when using taxi or rideshare services.

The session was a panel discussion with members of the Assistance Dogs Advisory Committee – Taxi & Rideshare Services (AACTRS). Topics included the importance of collective advocacy, the need for strong data and evidence, and the combination of education and enforcement of laws that will be vital to eliminating refusals for people with assistance dogs.
