BCA Conversations – Consultation on Inclusive Higher Education

You are invited to engage with us in a consultation focused on Higher Education to explore the implications of the Disability Royal Commission’s perceptions for the educational landscape nationwide. We will also discuss the recent Australian Universities Accord. Your perspectives are invaluable to us at BCA, and we extend an invitation to participate in this pivotal discussion.

This consultative session seeks to delve into your experiences and insights regarding higher education, while also exploring strategies to foster greater inclusivity in higher educational settings. Your contributions will play a vital role in shaping a more inclusive future for higher education for people who are blind or vision impaired. BCA National Volunteers Week Celebration

National Volunteer Week (NVW) is Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteering and will be celebrated from 20-26 May 2024. The theme for National Volunteer Week 2024 is ‘Something for Everyone’. recognising the vital support that the millions of volunteers in Australia provide to their communities.

In acknowledgment of our dedicated volunteers, Blind Citizens Australia (BCA) will host an exclusive online event during National Volunteer Week on Thursday,23rd May 2024 from 4:30pm to 5:30pm AEST.
