In this meeting, the group will discuss “The Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocalypse” by Robert Rankin available from the Vision Australia library. This group is open to all readers, whether you’ve just embarked on your reading journey or have been immersed in books for many years you are welcome to come along. You will have the chance to discuss books, exchange ideas, and broaden your horizons through the magic of storytelling.

BCA Inform – Update on Aviation Reforms

Tuesday, 11th November from 7:30pm to 9:00pm AEDT.

In August 2024, the Australian Government released the Aviation White Paper with a commitment to making sure the aviation sector protects the rights of people with disability.

This reform included commitment to create new aviation-specific disability standards. These standards will be a schedule to the Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport 2002 under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992.

To support the development of the Aviation Disability Standards, a BCA representative, alongside other people with disability, recently took part in a series of co-design workshops and consultations with key industry stakeholders.

Join us to hear insights from these sessions and the latest updates on aviation reforms, presented by BCA Policy Officer Melanie Chatfield and BCA Representative Assunta Fogliaro.

Whether you’re an experienced performer, singer or have just recently picked up an instrument, you’re welcome to join this supportive and inspiring group.

Art Appreciation Group

Do you enjoy discussing different styles of art, exploring critiques of art, reading writings from curators, and sharing online resources to expand your understanding of art?
