The topic of our September BCA Inform was the NDIS.
This month we were joined by Peta Hogan, National Advocacy Project Officer – Blind Citizens Australia and Sally Aurisch, Chief Executive Officer – Blind Citizens Australia.
Peta discussed the NDIS / NDIA and the appeals processes available for participants, also known as Administrative Appeals Tribunal, AAT, and Review of Reviewable Decision, RORD. Sally provided an insight and update into the work being done by Disability Representative and Carer Organisations, DRCO, Independent Information Gathering for Access and Planning, IIGAP.
